    The work was included two parts:“Far” and “Close”.

    The first movement incorporates different combinations and changes between fourth and fifth intervals, which are the most prominent stylistic feature of Chinese music. Its rhythmic pattern, which is mainly consisted with 16th notes and syncopated notes, aspire to show the lively atmosphere, yet, intentionally decrease the sense of stability.

    In the second movement, the composer aspire to use his musical language to reflect his introspection regarding to the relationship between Chinese music and World music by incorporating two sets of piano staffs. One represent the Chinese music and the other refers to the music from other places.
