Notes

  • Program notes:

Enharmonische Utopien II (2017) was commissioned and premiered by Lanet Flores and Estelle Costanzo. As part of the cycle Enharmonische Utopien it deals with smallest changes of pitches causing wide harmonic relations in a field of pure thirds, fifths and natural sevenths. A scordatura of the harp and precise microtonal pitched clarinet and sinus samples on a tape create a context, where the live clarinet can intone music on and beyond the limits of the jet known enharmonic world.

The tape can be performed with a 6-channel sound cube, provided by the composer, or with a “normal” stereo PA setup (not loud, instruments are not amplified).
