Notes

  • Program notes:

In this work the main idea is the timbre and its evolution in the space and time.
The timbre is developed using different ways of playing the instruments, different articulations… The dynamics are used sometimes to emphasize the “plastic” mouvement of the timbre, many times unstable, and other times, to create, at the same time, different sound planes.
The composer creates an original melody which is inspired by the basque folk.
This melody is used throughout the work as a timber in mouvement and also, organizes the pitches and generates the music form.
