Silva, Igor C.: Frames #87

Basic information

  • Program notes:

"Frames #87" (2011) for clarinet, live electronics and video

The images erode our senses, invading abruptly the vision, just as noise breaks the silence. The sudden flashbacks distort, disintegrate and dismember the whole sensorial subtlety. We smell the dust, the rust and a strange smoke. While the air becomes unbreathable, the aggression and impulsivity become more and more present and the whole chaotic and unstable reality asserts itself before us. Possibly it is a reflection of our own inconstant present, where the values seem to be disposable and the violence eminent.
