    Psalm 129 was written for the 150 Psalms project, that was initiated by the Netherlands Chamber Choir and its manager Tido Visser in 2017. During the Early Music Festival in Utrecht (NL), 4 professional choirs performed a ‘monumental ode to 1000 years choral music’ – settings of all 150 Psalms by 150 different composers. Psalm 129 was premiered by the Norwegian Soloists' Choir and has since been performed in many parts of the world.
