    SPUREN is built upon weave-like gestures that build up slowsly but steadily. These waves
    are large and menacing, a characteristic to keep in mind while performing the piece. The intensity (dynamics, playing position, vibrato, etc.) is steadily increasing. The winds try to catch a breath subtly, while the strings use staggered bowing.
