Romero Garrido, María de la Luz (Lula): Übergang

Basic information

Notes

  • Program notes:

Übergang (2015) for orchestra. In a continuous process of transformation (Übergang) masses of sound oppose each other and transform themselves in lines, that at the same time explore in their development other sound masses in an expressive disjointed horror vacui. Therefore, there is a mirror game, a speculation about reality that gives as a result a different “unreality”, which is not intended as an escapism or as a solipsist game, but the piece rather wants to understand reality through reflection and in doing so it invites us, the listener to reflect with it.
