    "Glittering Promenade" for orchestra is composed for 29th German-Scandinavian Orchestra week (Deutsch-Skandinavische Orchesterwoche) and was premiered in Berlin Philharmonie Hall. Conductor's Andreas Peer Kahler idea was to make a prelude for Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an exhibition" with this piece. That's why in "Glittering Promenade " are references to two pictures from Mussorgsky's work - "Samuel Goldenbeg and Schmuyle" and "Catacombs". The second version of "Glittering Promenade " was made on 2016 and had its performance by Latvian National Symphony orchestra, conducted by Olari Elts.
