    QUINTET, FOR FLUTE (C & G), CLARINET (Bb & BASS), VIOLIN, CELLO & PIANO (2014 13")

The piece was commissioned and premiered by ENSEMBLE MEITAR. Its debut performance took
place at the ‘Venice Biennial for contemporary music 2014’.
The piece was written with support of The Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts, Tel Aviv.
In my music I aim to offer beauty and emotion regardless to any non-musical context.
Quintet is a one movement piece, based on a single thematic material.
The different quantities of the musical seed are explored through a sequence of episodes, in a process which I like to think of as “revelation” rather than development.
