Notes

  • Program notes:

Uminari no Gusuku was inspired by the forest of the northern Okinawa. There is blessed with a richness of nature, and have a number of interesting endemic species. I once have participated in a prohect to sample the sound of nature there before dawn. I was able to listen to various environmental sounds then. the song of birds or insects that I've never listened, the sound of sea wind blowing through trees, and the sea roaring from a distance... In Okinawa, a castle is called Gusuku. This piece expressed the castle where a lot of nature reside by three instruments.
