  • Program notes: 

    "Celeste“ (Italian for „celestial“) signifies something higher and brighter. I am attracted both to the vastness and uncertainty of the celestial. We can only imagine what lies beneath the stars far above, light-years away from us. It can bring hope or unease, sometimes fright. Still, the bliss of the blue sky and a starry night is somewhat invigorating. The main motives of this piece are the repetiteveness and variability of the celestial being – static spheres and unpredictable phenomena.
