    In 2016, the humorous and expressive choral suite Speeches won the Allmänna Sången & Anders Wall Composition Award for international female composers. “The piece is based on three marvelous texts that have been set to music of the highest calibre”, the jury stated. In the first part, The Rights of Woman, the French Women’s rights activist Olympe de Gouge asks “Man, are you capable of being just?”. She was executed by guilloutine in 1793 for her political activities.
