    As for myself I still find it hard - and unfair actually - to be ask to comment on my work; any work really. be it a solo work, a string quartet or orchestra. We a talking about music; this is music. Let's just treat it as such and listen.
    To be honest, up to a certain extent I envy those who exhaust themselves, guiding us through their creation, extolling, rambling on and on. At the same time I feel, that oftentimes, the more information we are given, the less we-as listeners-are able to find our own way into a work of art.
    Anyhow, there are legions of qualified specialists, who make it their business to find words about what they have heard in the music: questions of form, gestalt, counterpoint, compositional goals, ethical, political etc.
    That helps.
