Ma voix te suit – presentation
Ma voix te suit for a cappella choir takes its words from the book written by Claude-Royet
Journoud, Kardia. The title of this book – “Heart” in Greek – reflects one of the “obsessions” of
the poet speculating on the act of writing, on the physical dimension of this experience. Ma voix te
suit continues the exploration of the body, this time musically, through a musical writing which
stages the voice and tries to reach its limits, in austerity as in sensuality
