Notes

  • Program notes:

The title of my piece ‘Phantasm’ meaning something that is seen or imagined but is not real. The essence of the piece is given by the density of the sounding. The sounding is sometimes determined by the segments of the modal scales, other times by the serial twelve-tone technique. The noise and the percussion effects are implemented in this system created by me. Moreover, I attempeted to reach indetermined sounding with metrical notation. Metrics do not have a beat in the aleatoric bars, they just help the players with the syncronisation. The piece was commissioned by Rebekka Kruchió, in 2013.
