Notes

  • Program notes:

Lithuanian hero Chewpironus is the author of “The Codex of Love Snatch-ups” and the virtuoso of carnal affection. The legendary passion for the snatcher’s love unravels the stories of Boccaccio’s Decameron, developing into the myth of the 21st century’s transnational love. After the “antisnatcherous” methaphor “little stone is cold-hearted” strikes the naive duet, illusions of lustful lips and feigned-honour based love vanish. Eventually it becomes clear that the experienced drama is just a dream and true love never loses... The miniature of minimalism aesthetics, full of esoteric mirth and playfulness, is concluded with the motiff of well-known Lithuanian church hymn.
