Biography

Karel Stulens is a student Composition at the Conservatory of Ghent under
guidance of dr. Daan Janssens. Since 2017 his working field is shifting towards thepath of questioning the relevance of his artistic practice in our modern day society. With this research, Stulens tries to play with topics as privilege, relevance, decolonization, politics etc… . He sees the concept of Composing as to play with components, in whatever form they may exist. In this way, his work is very often communicative/disruptive with the global archive
