Biography

Nazar Skrypnyk (1992)
Nazar was born in the Ternopil region, Ukraine. In 2016 Nazar graduated composition faculty of Mykola Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music (studied composition with Victor Kaminsky, orchestration and electroacoustic music with Ostap Manulyak). Now he is based in Lviv.
Nazar is winner of the V International Master-Classes of New Music COURSE (Lviv, 2016). Also he took part in master-classes with famous composers from Ukraine, Germany, Austria, France, USA, Russia, Poland, Netherlands and Czech Republic. His pieces were performed at such festivals: «Musical meeting of Polish and Ukrainian Youth», «VOX ELECTRONICA», «International Festival of Contemporary Music Contrasts», «Two days and two nights of new music» (Ukraine), «aXes - Triduum Muzyki Nowej» (Poland), «SAX16 International Saxophone Festival Amsterdam» (Netherlands). Manager of projects «One cubed» and «#це просто» («#it’s simple»). In 2018 Nazar got grant of President of Ukraine for young artists (project «451» for symphony orchestra, live electronics, performance and video, premiere – 21/10/2018, Lviv, International Festival of Contemporary Music Contrasts).
