Schinwald, Reinhold 

 
 

 

Biography

Reinhold Schinwald lives and works in Vienna. He studied audio engineering at Graz University of Technology and composition with Beat Furrer and Pierluigi Billone as well as music theory with Christian Utz, Clemens Gadenstätter and G.F. Haas at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He attended master classes with Peter Ablinger, Mark Andre, Chaya Czernowin and Steven Takasugi and was invited to participate at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2013 and matrix12 - Experimentalstudio-Academy of the SWR Freiburg. His chamber opera „fremd körper“ was premiered at the taschenopernfestival 2011 in Salzburg. Various ensembles including oenm, ensemble SurPlus, Ensemble PHACE and Schallfeld Ensemble have been performed his compositions. In 2016 he co-founded buro lunaire.
