Biography

Stanislav Pristas studied composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava under the leadership of Mgr. art. Ivan Buffa, ArtD. His compositions are yearly premiered in Bratislava at various festivals of contemporary music. Composition Hours was chosen in Call for Scores and performed by Ensemble Terrible in Prague, Czech Republic. Septem, for violoncello and seven instruments, was chosen in Call for Scores by Forest Collective in Melbourne. Program suite Nadh'omme was performed by the Quasars Ensemble in Bratislava and was also awarded with an Honorable Mention at the 2018 International Competition in Ostrava.
