Biography

Chris Perren is an Australian composer and video artist, holding a PhD in music composition. Chris is the founder of indie-chamber group, Nonsemble, and electronic outfit Software of Seagulls. He has written music for Ensemble Offspring, UQ Big Band, Queensland Camerata, and various groups and soloists. 
His compositions and audiovisual pieces have been performed at Bang on a Can Festival, MATA Festival, International Computer Music Conference, Argo, Dots+Loops, Sonic State Festival, MONA, and GoMA.
Chris's recorded work has been released on labels in Brisbane, London, and Tokyo, and featured by WNYC's New Sounds and I Care If You Listen.
