Biography

Vu Nhat Tan was born in 1970 in Hanoi, is a composer specializing in symphony, chamber music, instrumental recitals and compositions for traditional Vietnamese instruments.
Since 1980, he studied piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, from 1981 to 1995, he studied composing and studying music and graduated with a Bachelor of Music.
In 2000 - 2001, he studied composing music with Clarence Albertson Barlow and modern music with Johannes Fritsch at Staatlich Hochschule fuer Music University, Cologne Germany under the scholarship of Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst DAAD.
In 2002, he studied composition and ethnographic music studies with Professor Chinary Ung at San Diego University of California California, USA, funded by the ACC New York Asian Cultural Council.
