Biography

His formation is closely linked to the Conservatory "Jesus Guridi" of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), where he studied composition with Antonio Lauzurika and Carmelo Bernaola, and electroacoustic composition with Alfonso Garcia de la Torre. He completed his training with Salvatore Sciarrino, Mauricio Sotelo, Luis de Pablo, Ramón Gonzalez Arroyo and as a jazz pianist with Iñaki Salvador.

He has made numerous creative projects: composition, improvisation, installations, experimental music, dance, painting, performance. Receive composition commissions from the International Festival of Contemporary Music in Alicante, Donostia Musical Fortnight, Ensems Valencia, Bernaola Festival, from institutions like the INAEM (National Institute of Performing Arts and Music), CDMC (Center for the Dissemination of Contemporary Music), Artium (Basque Centre-Museum of Contemporary Art), as well as soloists and groups like Project Sigma, Madrid Brass, Neopercusión, Krater Ensemble, Ensemble Space Sinkro, Baltasar Perelló, Alfonso Gómez or Josetxo Silguero, Séverine Ballon.

As a performer is part of the "Space Sinkro Ensemble" and experimental music group "Sirius", and directs the jazz band "Big Band Berri". He currently teaches electroacoustic music at the center of higher education in the Basque Country "Musikene".
