Biography

Ryszard Latecki (born in 1956) – multi-instrumentalist, he invented „latara“ – patented half-frets guitar. He found many ensembles, he also plays with the group Kawalerowie Błotni. He is very ctive on the stage of alternative improvising music. The essence of his projects is to gather on the stage or in the studio musicians representing different kinds of music that have one thing in common – they love improvising without any predefined rules, that is in accordance with the spirit of a place and time, where the concert takes place. It is based on intuition.
In his projects take part the chief representatives of alternative scene from Lithuania and Ukraine. Ryszard Latecki is author and executor of many musical performances. He is also aco-inventor of a completely new way of playing music so called Reverse Music. He also recorded 3 albums, issued by Obuh Records.
Vice – President of Polish Society tor Contemporary Music.
