Biography

Marleen Dupont (Belgium) graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in violin (first prize), music writing: harmony, counterpoint and fugue (master’s degree), and in composition (master’s degree). She attended several international master classes for composition.

Several of her compositions were performed in Belgium and abroad, including compositions for string quartet, trios, symphony, harmony and chamber orchestras, even music for radio drama. Her composition for violin, sax and piano is recorded on CD “fingerprints #3”.

She is also a well - known author, both locally and internationally, for her violin method books.
