Biography

Youngjae Cho (*1990) studied composition at Keimyung University, Nuremberg University of Music in Germany. In
addition, he studied electro-acoustic music at Hanyang University. His teachers were Seongah Shin, Jongwoo Yim,
Peter Gahn. He received scholarships from DAAD.
He has been awarded with prizes, including 1st prize at George Enescu International Competition, 3rd prize at Younghi
Pagh-Paan Composition Prize, 3rd prize at Joongang Music Competition. His works has been selected and performed
by the Festival Futura in France, Evimus Festival in Germany, International Computer Music Conference in Shanghai,
Seoul International Computer Music Festival, Pan Music Festival, Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival.
