Buravickis, Platons 




Platon Buravicky (1989) is contemporary classical composer, pianist and improviser.
Studied composition under Pēteris Vasks direction, then he received a Master’s Degree in composition
from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music under direction of professor Selga Mence.

His creative work is dedicated not only symphonic and chamber music, a special place in his creative work takes electroacoustic music.
He composes musique concrète also music, based on sound synthesis, i.e. he makes kind of virtual tools / modules algorithms, which uses for playing music, like musical instruments.

Recently he composes a lot of music, among them «Injector. Впрыск. Sprausla» dedicated to Liepāja's concert hall anniversary composed specially for Berliner Philharmoniker Scharoun ensemble, also Techno Opera, the work, professing the idea of the composer - to unite the world with music, specifically in this case was united two subcultures – techno and academic music lovers. Also, he has created his musical version for the silent romantic comedy film «Safety Last» (USA 1923).
And the main opus for the moment for Platon considers for himself – «Aesthetics of Disassembly», where was accented the beauty of rudeness.
