Biography

Krzysztof Baculewski
composer (*1950 in Warsaw), studied composition at the Fryderyk Chopin State College of Music in Warsaw (1969 -1974); postgraduate studies in Paris under Olivier Messiaen at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique and electroacoustic music at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (1975-1976). Doctorate (humanities) at the University of Warsaw 1982. Lectures at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. Since 2001 - a titular professor. Visiting professor at Johannes-Gutenberg Universität in Mainz (Germany) 2003. Many guest lectures in many countries. His works have been performed in many European countries, as well as the USA and South America.
