Alon, Ruth 

 
 

 

Biography

Ruth Alon 1984, Israel, studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, Universität der Künste Berlin; in 2020, graduated M.A cum laude in Composition from The Estonian Academy of Music. During her work as a composer, Ruth developed a unique personal style and her compositions get commissioned, published and played in concerts and festivals around the world. Ruth won 1st prize in the Donne In Musica International Composition Competition, and is a receiver of grants and scholarships. Ruth is a member of the Israeli Composers’ League, and today interns with Prof. Kent Olofsson at the Malmö Music Academy, Lund University, Sweden.
