He completed his studies in composition in Milan and Darmstadt (IMD).
His scores are published, in facsimile editions, by Gérard Billaudot Éditeur, Paris, M.a.p. Editions, Milan and Simon Verlag, Berlin and have been premiered around Europe.
For the Swiss scientific magazine Dissonance he published some musicological articles about the composers Roman Haubenstock-Ramati (1919-1994) and Giuseppe Giorgio Englert (1927-2007). He wrote some essays on the Swiss composer Jim Grimm (1928-2006), of whom he edited the English biography and the works list for the website www.musinfo.ch.
He works for the experimental cinema: the film Abacuc by Luca Ferri, produced by Lab80 Film, for which he wrote the original tape's score of music and dialogues, has been recently presented during the 32nd Turin Film Festival and the 29th Film Festival of Mar del Plata, Argentina.
He is a member of SUISA, Switzerland.
