Number of members is 70 persons. 

General Situation. 
Principal task of the ANM is thorough support all artists involved in the innovative trends of contemporary music and synthetic arts, stimulation of international cooperation. Proceeding from the ideal of free development of art the ANM doesn't limit concept of New music by stylistic or ideological bounds. The ANM achieves its aims through the organizing and holding of various artistic and cultural events and actions (festivals, conferences master-classes etc.), realizing audio- and audio-visual recordings, producing CDs, publishing scores and other production (electronic and hard copies). The ANMactivity is various and multiple. It is engaged in information and advertising activities, provides gratis management, favours creative work and improvement of professional skills, furthers contacts with colleagues and managers of international musical community, assists in performance and recordings of music, participation in festivals and competitions, exchange information and works. 
One of directions in the ANM activity in organizing and holding of cultural forums (international festivals, concerts, conferences, seminars, master-classes etc). On April 20-22, 2007, the 13th International Festival of Modern Art "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" was held in Odessa, Ukraine. 
As to the developments towards national cultural politics. The culture-education project "Center for Applied Cultural Management"/CACM on the period 2004 - 2008 was initiated by the ANM and supported by "Pro Helvetia-Ukraine" (Switzerland) and Swiss Culture Program/SCP. 
It is the pilot project serving as a best practice model for systematic non-government training programmes in general arts management in Ukraine. More

Chamber concert works by Ukrainian composers was organized on March 27, 2007 by Union of Bulgarian Composers - Bulgarian Section of the ISCM in Philip Koutev Concert Hall (Sofia, Bulgaria). Program included:

International Action "New Music from Ukraine" took place on April, 30, 2007 in Jerusalem, Israel. 
National and international activities. 
On April 20-22, 2007, the 13th International Festival of Modern Art "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" was held in Odessa, Ukraine. 
The annual International Festival of Modern Art "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music"is one of the most large and informative festivals for New music and performing art in Ukraine. A specific feature of the Festival is 48 hour non-stop action (more exactly two 12 hour sessions) on the 3rd weekend of April from 20 to 22 April (this event). Music performances are theatralised and combined with visual arts actions, sound, video, cinema and multimedia installations. The Festival promotes all trends of avant-garde, modern and post-modern music, including live-electronics, taped and/or computer music.
Before the festival the Festival-Prelude was held. The conception of the Festival is as follows: a large international event for new music with participation of nearly 200 musicians, composers, musicologists, and managers from all over the world and the same quantity from Ukraine. The aim is to unite New music with new festival form, to demonstrate the new trends of New music to the Ukrainian auditory (nearly 2000 - 3000 spectators), to promote the integration of Ukrainian music to the worldwide music culture.

Now we work under edition of the CD (DVD-ROM) dedicated to the 11th International Festival of Modern Art. 
Participation ANM in the projects 
President of the ANM Karmella Tsepkolenko participated in the Black/North Seas Gathering within the International cultural project SEAS in Constanta, Romania (13-17 September, 2006). 
The Constanta Gathering launched the DATES, clarified SEAS planning, and performances from the first SEAS cycle (2003 - 2005) was shown and included a short conference on Arts and Urban Re-Invention. It also initiated the 25++/Mobility Programme and partners from AFAA/France, Sfumato/Bulgaria and IAM/Poland were presented. 
SEAS Gathering: Odessa, Ukraine 25-29 April 2007
A major SEAS Gathering was held in Odessa in close collaboration with The Ukrainian Drama Theatre, The British Council/Odessa, Association New Music and Center for Applied Cultural Management, other local organizations. Nearly 100 artists, partners, prospective hosts, sponsors and observers took part to round off the DATES phase of the project and change focus towards the co-production and touring phases throughout the target regions in 2008 and 2009.

On April 18 - 20, 2008, the 14th International Festival of Modern Art "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" will be organized by the ANM in Odessa, Ukraine. 
Within the festival prelude the concert in memoriam of Joseph Dorfmann will be held.
