Annual report 2005 (in abridgement)

- In 2005 the decision to work for the housing of the ISCM WMD 2009 in Visby-Växjö-Göteborg (taken by SWAP, the Swedish Art music Promotors - i.e. VICC, CoMA and OPEN) was strongly supported by the cultural and official authorities in these three regions (East-South-West), and the endorsement from the Swedish Concert Institute and the Royal Academy of Music made possible to engage a national Co-ordinator for this great event.

- The Centre's Composer in Residence-program sets up a new record: 39 residencies (allotted on 929 days), of which 1/3 of these were held by women composers. 

- 4 composers, endorsed by ISCM sections and financially supported by the ISCM-VICC Composer in Residency Program, enjoys working periods at the Centre: Patrick Saint-Denis (Canada), Halyna Ovcharenko (UK/Ukraine), José Luís Marques Ferreira (Portugal) and Ross Carey (New Zealand).

- From the trifling beginning in August 2001 to the end of 2005 the Centre has welcomed visitors from some 40 countries around the world!

- Concerts and seminars with VICC-participation are held in Visby, Stockholm, Göteborg, Reykjavik, Moscow, Odessa, Istanbul, Kazan and La Paz.

- Ramon Anthin travels in his double capacity as VICC Executive Director and ISCM Ex.Com. Member on missions to Iceland, Germany, Croatia, Ukraine, Turkey, the Netherlands, Tatarstan/Russia, Bolivia and Norway.
