  • Please describe your organization’s activities over the past year, including concerts, commissions, collaborations, publications: 

    ISCM Latvia section organized call for scores for the WMD 2021 in New Zealand. There were selected two pieces Lauras Gustovskas Silk for the piano and Santas Ratnieces In This White Snow the Pearls are Lost for chamber ensemble.Due to C-19 situation WMD was postponed in 2022. Latvia ISCM also continued cooperation with Baltic countries to create a stronger network between Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian composers with the aim to promote contemporary music.

  • Please describe your organization's research activities over the past year: 
    There were created two articles about ISCM activities on newspaper Music Sun (Mūzikas saule). One was about pandemic situation in several countries. Article about situation in Latvian musical life was translated into english and published on https://iscm.org/magazine/world-new-music-magazine-30-iscm-during-a-year-of-pandemic-2020/
