  • Please describe your organization’s activities over the past year, including concerts, commissions, collaborations, publications: 

    During 2019 Russian section has carried out more than 20 international projects in cooperation with the international partners. Among them are:
    - Israeli-Russian ISCM-sections collaboration both in Russia and in Israel. Two Israeli composers Ayal Adler and Amos Elkana were invited to Russia in October 2019 to take part at the International festival "Mustransit: East-West" in Kazan and in Moscow. There were organised three concerts, master-classes and international conference.MCME was invited to Israel in November to take part at the concert at the Tel-Aviv University (performing works by Israeli, Italian, Austrian and Finnish composers) and workshop - the young copmposers scores reading at the Tel-Aviv Or-Yehuda Conservatory.
    - The Lithuanian-Russian ISCM sectoions collaboration. Two Lithianian musicians Ingrida Armonaite and Indre Baikstyte were invited to Kazan and to Moscow with the concert of Lithuanian-Russian contemporary music.
    - Australian-Russian collaboration. The Australian composer Michael Smetanin was invited to Russia in October 2019 to take part at the International festival "Mustransit: East-West" in Kazan and in Moscow. There were organised the concerts, master-classes and international conference.
    - The leading Macedonian composer Jana Andreevska was invited to Russia in October 2019 to take part at the International festival "Mustransit: East-West" in Kazan and in Moscow. There were organised the concerts, master-classes and international conference.
    - Swiss-Russian collaboration both in Russia and in Switzerland. The Swiss composer Thomas Mhjer and Swiss video-designer Monika Mueller together with MCNE ctreated the new international multimedia music project "Abzug" which were presented in Russia (Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk)in October and in Switzerland (Boswil, Biel/Bienne, Luzern) in November. The swiss leading new music ensemble "Vortex" was invited to Kazan and to Mosocw with the multimedia concert of Swiss composers.
    - The multimedia musi project MACHINERY with new works by young Russian composers (Alexander Jhubeev, Nikolai Popov, Alexander Chernyshkov, etc) were presented in Grenoble, Maison de la Culture de Grenoble in November.
    - The French leading conductor Fabien Tehericsen were invited to Russia to conduct the Kazan New Music Orchestra for the new project "Tribute to Jimi Hendrix".
    - The Ninth International Young Composers Academy was hel in Tchaikovsky-city and in Moscow during August-September 2019. The professors of Academy were: the composers Bernard Cavanna (France), Bryn Harrison (UK), martin Schuettler (Germany), Deqing Wen (China), the cellist Ulrike Brand (Germany), a publisher of the "Donemus Publishing House" Davo van Peursen (the Netherlands), a musicologist Tamsin Alexander (UK). Among young students were the composers from Russia, Argentina, Belarus, Canada, China, France, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Ukraine, etc.
    - MCME presented at the Daegu Contemporary Music Festival (Daegu, South Korea) two international music programs and participated at the joint networking-concert with the ensembles and solists from Germany, Poland, South Korea.
    - MCME was in a residence of the Shanghai University working with the Chinese composers and students of the Shanghai Conservatory.
    - MCME participated at the Diaghilev-Festival working with the famous composer George Friedrich Haas
