    1) Continued work on the CLC’s project as organizer of the 2017 ISCM World New Music Days in Vancouver.  Major events of this year in this project were:

        a) Completion of CLC’s negotiation of our Agreement with Vancouver’s Music on Main to be our Presentation Partner for the 2017 World New Music Days. Music on Main’s Artistic Director David Pay will be the Artistic Director of the 2017 WNMDs.

        b) Continued work with our 9-member Advisory Committee and 12-member CLC Council to manage the project, evaluate reports, and make relevant decisions.

        c) Continued development of Festival Schedules, Budgets, Venues, relationships with Concert Partners (Vancouver and Canadian ensembles/artists who will be donating concerts to the Festival), as well as developing WNMD-presented concerts.  Also plans for the General Assembly and hosting delegates.

        d) Application for and receipt of second instalment of funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.  Application for and receipt of funding from the City of Vancouver, to be given over three years. Also a special application for funding from the SOCAN Foundation, and development of and submission of our application to the Department of Canadian Heritage.

        e) Working on our ISCM 2017 website and first individual fundraising campaign, to take place in Jan/Feb 2016.

    Other projects & events included:

    2) Producing our Canadian Section CD of our six selected works for the 2015 World Music Days in Ljubljana, Slovenia.  The pieces are:

From these, Gordon Fitzell’s Pangaea Ultima was chosen for performance in Ljubljana.

    3) Holding a Canadian Section Call for Works for the 2016 World Music Days in Tongyeong.  Jurors for the selection of six works were Alice Ho and Patrick Saint-Denis, with non-voting chair Jim Hiscott.  The six works are:
