Music Theatre NOW (MTN) is an international competition for all professional forms of opera and music theatre. The call for applications of the recent Music Theatre NOW edition ended June 30th 2015 and 3450 participants from 54 countries took part. The 18 artistic teams who won will be invited to the meeting, which will be held at the Operadagen Rotterdam from May 22nd through May 25th 2016.

 

 

The Festival Présences 2016, February 5 to 14

 

 

 

 

The Festival Présences 2016, with the theme “Italy today”, runs from February 5 to 14 in Paris. It will present world and national premieres of new orchestra and choir works by Francesconi, Stroppa, Colla and Lanza. The festival, which is produced by Radio France, will also feature various other Ricordi works by Nono, Sciarrino, Francesconi, Stroppa, Donatoni, Grisey, Maderna and Romitelli.

Since 2014, Klarafestival has been held in March. Every year, we present current, high-quality and adventurous performances and concerts with international appeal to as large and varied an audience as possible in many different venues located not only in Brussels but also in Antwerpen and Brugge. The 2016 festival, March 9-24, is conceived as a collage of universal stories about the passion of humans and the compassion they have for their fellow human beings, using as a starting point religious and spiritual music.
