Dark Music Days 2017, January 26-28





Dark Music Days is an annual festival of contemporary and new music which takes place during the darkest period of the Icelandic winter at the concert hall Harpa in downtown Reykjavík. This year’s festival program presents a cross section of pioneering contemporary music from both sides of the Atlantic. The focus lies on works with mixed techniques where the boundaries of contemporary music performance are explored.

hcmf// is an annual, international festival of contemporary and new music, taking place over 10 days, Friday 18 – Sunday 27 November 2016, and consisting of approximately 50 events – including concerts, music-theatre, dance, multi-media, talks and film – with a related Learning and Participation programme devised and implemented to reflect the artistic programme and respond to regional need.








Overwhelming minimal music, wringing soundscapes, experimental electronics, post-pop, electro-acoustic crossovers: all this can be heard from 6 – 10 September during Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht.
